Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Tokei app for iPhone and its widgets (the "App"), made by the Tokei developer ("we"). By downloading or using the App you agree to them. The App is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, Apple's agreement applies.

Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the App, except where the law allows it.

Time and weather information

Tokei shows times, time zone offsets, day and night and, in the Weather theme, a simplified picture of forecast clouds and precipitation. This information is provided for general reference. Time zone rules come from your device's operating system, and weather is a schematic rendering of public model forecasts that may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on the App for navigation, safety, travel, legal or other decisions where an error could cause harm.

Third-party data

• Earth imagery is based on NASA Visible Earth, Blue Marble and Black Marble.
• Weather data comes from the NOAA Global Forecast System through the NOAA Open Data Dissemination program, and is simplified for display.

NASA and NOAA do not endorse the App.

Intellectual property

The App's design, code, artwork and sounds belong to us. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the App at any time. Some features may require a recent version of iOS.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the effective date shown on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
